Asc,
Over the past 24 months (2020-2022), the Somali Australian Community Association SACA- NSW provided much-needed support to vulnerable Somali families, individuals, recent refugee arrivals as well as temporary visa holders and asylum seekers through a broad range of immediate community care support programs. This included the delivery of over 150 food and grocery hampers across Western and South-West Sydney.
We are grateful for the support of Multicultural NSW as well as the Honourable Natalie Ward and Mark Coure MP who provided us with this opportunity to support our Somali community in South-West and Western Sydney.
We would also like to thank the former Mayor of Auburn Council Mr Hicham Zraika, Mr Dean De Haas and Auburn Youth Centre Inc. as well as Cumberland Councillors Mr Ned Attie and Councillor Joseph Rahme for their support.
Last but not least, thank you to all our dedicated volunteers. We thank God almighty for using us to help those less fortunate during these difficult times of COVID-19. God bless you all.
P.S. Stay tuned for more support programs in the near future God willing.
Kind regards,
Somali Australian Community Association of NSW (SACA) Committee
